This is news?
The website of CBS 13 television from Sacramento, California, has a story titled “Man Who Built Raft Out Of Scraps To Sail To China.”
On the one hand, I wonder how this can be considered “news,” especially when you consider that just about every day, someone in Cuba is building a raft from scraps, hoping it will float long enough to get him and his family to the United States.
Then I realized a Cuban building a raft to escape Castro’s hell is a dog-bites-man story, while someone building a raft to amuse himself is a man-bites-dog story.
